EMILY VANCAMP, AMBER VALLETTA

The episode kicked off with Emily and Daniel posing for their fairy tale wedding. The only problem being that Daniel wants to keep Emily’s most recent news — that her ego is preggo – a secret from everyone. He says it’s because he doesn’t want it to overshadow the wedding, or the magazine article for that matter — but Emily knows better; it’s because Daniel’s heart is still torn.
This is something Sarah noticed as well because she shows up jealous that Daniel hasn’t spoken to her in a whole week! She makes it clear to him that she’s not the type of girl to wait around for a boy. But as we know, she is the type to try and steal said man from another woman.  To each their own. Either way, she tells Daniel it’s time to make up his mind.

With baby on the brain, Emily shows up at The Grayson’s to finalize seating plans with Victoria– cutting it close Em! The wedding is tomorrow! She tells Victoria that she would like Nolan to have a place at the main table seeing as he’s the one who will be walking her down the aisle (aw). But the two are interrupted by someone neither one expected to see: Lydia.

“You look like you’ve seen a ghost!” Lydia tells Emily, which in fairness it’s kinda like she did. But Lydia has more to say. She tells Emily that she may have fooled the Grayson’s but she’s not buying it. Then as if that wasn’t enough, she shoves Emily who falls and Daniel swoops to her rescue in seconds. Victoria tells Daniel to relax, she’s fine, it was just a little fall, but Daniel tells her it could be serious — she’s pregnant. Well, that’s one way to break the exciting news!

Speaking of Lydia, nothing has changed since she fell five stories out the window and escaped being blown up in an airplane. Lady is still trying to manipulate her way into the Hamptons, and more specifically, Conrad’s good graces. So much so, that she goes against her deal with Margot (to stay hidden) and invites Conrad to her hotel room.

But why is he there? Shockingly, it’s not for a quickie — Lydia is trying to compile proof to support her accusations against The Graysons and back up the story that she told Margot. However, Margot isn’t so convinced she can trust her or believe anything she’s saying. But it turns out she may not even be investigating any of it anymore. Why? Well, after Jack realized that she didn’t take Nolan’s bait to stop looking into Conrad, he goes back to Nolan to ask him to put a trace on her computer. Nolan, being the great friend that he is, tells him to just be honest about what he knows and if Margot really cares about him, she’ll choose her feelings for him over the story. Luckily for Jack, she does.

Speaking of choosing feelings. Emily is prepping with Aiden for everything that is about to commence. He has her focus and tune into the journey that brought her here, and with her eyes closed, asks her to come along on a new journey entirely; he proposes, and Emily of course says yes. And while this is great for Emily, my brain instantly went to Jack. Anybody else? Regardless, after spending part of the night together, Aiden slips off the ring he just gave her and slides Daniel’s ring back on. If that ain’t love, what is? The best part about Emily’s new engagement? Her new identity: Amanda Ross — as in the last name of a Mr. Nolan Ross. How sweet!

With her gameface back on, Emily returns to Daniel and they go to a doctor’s appointment where they are mobbed by press  for information about their baby, but who could have leaked this information? Victoria was the only one who knew! Cue Daniel confronting Victoria and basically telling her that Emily is his life now — she lost. These sentiments are carried over when Sarah finds out about the baby and returns the necklace telling him that they aren’t meant to be. She may have returned the necklace, but it’s clear she still has part of Daniel’s heart

Back over at the hotel room, Lydia returns to Conrad asking him to start over. He of course says yes and that’s when Lydia realizes a bunch of boxes housing hundreds of old photographs. She of course is looking for one in particular:  the infamous photo from the New Year’s Eve party with a dark-haired Amanda Clarke in the background. She found it.

The episode ended with Emily making her final preparations for her death wedding the next day. As opposed to getting her beauty sleep or trying on her dress, she had shot a gun in the shooting range letting the dust from the gun residue get all over a diamond bracelet. One that Victoria will presumably be wearing at the reception. But as Emily is standing on her porch, she’s paid a visit by none other than Victoria herself who tells her that she in fact was able to find a spot for Nolan at the main table: hers. She officially declined her invitation to the wedding. It’s going to be kind of difficult to pin Victoria Grayson for murder if she’s not even at the wedding in the first place!

Some leftovers: what do you think Lydia is going to do with the photograph? Are you happy for Emily and Aiden or are you Team Jack? Is Margot really done investigating? Do you think Victoria really won’t show up for the wedding?
