Revenge hatred pic

On the latest episode of Revenge things started spiraling even further out of control for Emily as she tries to keep a hold of her new husband. But will she be able to? Let’s dig in.

The episode started with Nolan showing up at the art gallery ready to give Patrick what’s coming to him. He tells him he’s not going to press charges even though he should, but what he is going to do is give him information about his past that Victoria has been withholding — and it comes in the form of a police report.

Back over at the Grayson’s, Emily is still trying to get back in Daniel’s good graces. When she finally gets him to “let her in,” he is not alone. Yep, he’s taken his hatred for her to such a level that he is now letting the other woman spend the night in their home. Naturally, Emily is having none of that and even Victoria takes notice. She’s noticed Emily’s ability to manipulate Daniel and warns him. Daniel thinks he can take her, but it’s not her son that Victoria is worried about. For once, she’s worried about Sarah and as it turns out, rightfully so. Emily tries a few more subtle approaches like telling her to leave, but Sarah makes it a point that she’s gonna stay in Daniel’s life whether Emily likes it or not.

Another pair that’s having some trouble in paradise are Patrick and Victoria. You see, Patrick found out that the person in question from the police report was a man named Jimmy. Jimmy just happens to be his biological father and located in the tri-state area. So you know what that means: road trip! The two go off to find Jimmy, and Patrick finally confides in Victoria about how terrible it was growing up without his real parents. Luckily for him, his dad shows up at the bar where he is drowning his sorrows. Unluckily for Victoria, she comes face to face with him and goes into a full fledged panic attack.

Someone else who is having a panic attack is Margot. After getting super excited for seeing her magazine finally on stands she opens it and finds out that all of her words have been changed — but who would do such a thing? Conrad of course! As payback for what was done to Lydia, he paid someone to create a new article and is now suing the magazine for libel. What will make him drop the suit? Margot firing Daniel and selling Daniel’s shares to him. To Daniel’s surprise, Margot does it to spare herself from being a causality of their crossfire. When she returns to The Stowaway she neglects to tell Jack about her new involvement with Conrad, but does agree to move in with Jack and Carl. Such a good foundation to start this next chapter with don’t you think?

Back over at Nolan’s, Nikko made herself a third roommate, but  her visit looks like it will be  short lived. She is still on a mission to find out who killed her father. She asks Aiden to come with her on her own quest for revenge and he says he will. Obviously he’s conveniently left out that he was the one who killed Takeda. Instead he has his trusty sidekick Nolan give him a photograph of the “man” who killed Takeda to give to Nikko and with that sends her on the man’s trail in Moscow. It’s only later that he finds out that this isn’t an open-ended mission, that there will be some justice at the end. The man in the photograph was the man who planted the bomb that killed Declan. So someone will get justice after all.

Back over at the Graysons, Emily is swimming some laps — because that’s clearly what you do when you’re still recovering from surgery — and starts swimming towards the wall and it doesn’t look like she’s going to stop. When she comes to, she’s in Nolan’s house and completely out of it. Aiden sees her and tries to get her to snap out of it and nothing makes her come to until he tells her he’s screwing up their plans, and she blurts out about him screwing Nikko. Subtle, Emily, subtle.

Daniel on the other hand is enjoying the life with the wife he’s always wanted — Sarah. She arranges this whole romantical evening, but after being fired by his father, he doesn’t really want to be in his house. Fair. So he suggests they go to Italy because you know, why not? As the two get ready to leave the next day, they are stopped in their tracks by a familiar voice to Sarah: her mother. Yep. Emily went straight up old school and called her mom. Smart play because her mom basically called her a homewrecker and disowned her. It looks like Sarah finally grew a pair and is standing firm… until she runs upstairs upset and ultimately breaks up with Daniel.

Patrick on the other hand is still trying to figure out why Victoria freaked out the way she did and she finally opens up about her own tragic past. Jimmy was a man who raped her and the reason she got pregnant with Patrick in the first place.

The episode ended with a few revelations. Before jet-setting off to Moscow, Nikko finds the sword that belonged to her father and is able to put all the pieces to the puzzle that is her father’s death together. Daniel, upon being completely heartbroken for the second time in weeks, finds Emily and gets scarily physical with her. He basically tells her to give up and as she’s trying to re-compose herself blacks out again. This time when she wakes up she’s in the South Fork Inn and being thanked by Conrad for being ‘marvelous last night’ — the look of horror on her face resembled mine as well. As if that wasn’t enough we have yet another scorned woman in the Hamptons; the original Mrs. Grayson.

Some leftovers: What do you think is going on with Emily? What will Nikko do now that she knows the truth about Aiden? What kind of trouble with the original Mrs. Grayson cause? Will Jack find out about Margot and Nikko?  DID EMILY SLEEP WITH CONRAD?
