revenge-payback

On the last episode of Revenge, Emily is still suffering from black outs and Victoria is confronted by two ghosts from her past. So what went down? Let’s dig in to find out!
The episode picks up with Emily still trying to piece together what has been going on with her head. She sees a doctor and so far the only diagnosis is that there is some swelling around her brain. After leaving the doctor’s office, she pays Nolan a visit who taps into the cameras at the South Fork Inn to see what really happened with her and Conrad — nothing. Except for the fact that he apparently gave her contact information for none other than the original Mrs. Grayson: Stevie. Stevie is a lawyer, and apparently Emily told her she was looking to divorce Daniel because she’s in love with another man.

Elsewhere, Charlotte approaches Daniel to give him a freebie for being the worst brother ever and forgetting her birthday — she wants to work at the magazine since she didn’t get into design school. She seems shocked. I wasn’t. Daniel breaks the news to her that he no longer works at said magazine, but decides to throw her a party.

Aiden on the other hand, is having some issues of his own. Now that Nikko finally put the pieces of the puzzle together about her father’s death, she essentially kidnaps Aiden with the intention to make him pay. Realizing that she played a hand in this, Emily sets off to rescue him. When she gets there she finds him tied up but before she can free him, her and Nikko fight it out. Fight summed up: Emily is a bad ass. However, Aiden tells Emily not to kill her and Emily begrudgingly agrees.

The next day, Nolan finds Emily asleep on the bench outside her house where she confides in him on what she told Stevie, but before you know it she blacked out again and when she comes to she’s dressed and ready at Charlotte’s party. Victoria is her always pleasant self but comes face to face with a man from her past, Jimmy: the guy who raped her. So why is he there?

Well, her other lovely son Patrick hired him to do some contractor work after a fire at the gallery. He obviously knows who he is, but he hired him just so he can essentially take care of him a.k.a. to kill him. Patrick is definitely a Grayson. However, right as he was about to do it, Jimmy started talking about regret and Patrick decides to let him life. For now.

Emily and Nolan are still trying to figure out her black outs when Nolan states the fact we’ve all been wondering the whole time: is she having a mental break like her mother? Her mother was around Emily’s age when it first started. Emily is definitely considering the possibility. She risked Aiden’s life. Nolan showed her footage of her lashing out at him. Instead of going after the ones who’ve wronged her, during her blackouts she’s going after the wrong people. So in an effort to solve that problem, she decides she’s going to kill them all.

Back at the gallery, Victoria confronts Patrick for hiring Jimmy, to which they are interrupted by none other than Jimmy himself. The two get to arguing and as he steps toward Victoria, Patrick slams his head into a dresser. As the realization of what he’s done comes across Patrick’s face, he picks up his phone to call 911. But because this is Victoria we’re taking about, she takes the phone out of his hands and instead leans down over him and tells him to ‘relax honey’ much like he did to her. We later find out that the coroner ruled Jimmy’s death an accident, but we all obviously know better.
Back over at the Graysons we learn that Stevie is actually the rightful owner of Grayson Manor and orders Victoria out by the end of the week. That’s one way to make a house a home! Speaking of homes, Jack and Margot are in the process of house hunting and Jack found one that he loved. He’s excited to start this new chapter, with his new family. Unfortunately for Jack, there’s a new member to his family that he didn’t know about: his birth mother. And who do you think she is? None other than Stevie Grayson.

Some leftovers: were you shocked that Patrick killed Jimmy? What do you think is causing Emily’s blackouts? Do you trust Stevie? Were you shocked to find out that she is Jack’s mom?
