On the latest episode of Revenge, Jack has a decision to make about his future and Emily makes a big revelation about her father. Let’s dig in!
Stevie showed up at The Stowaway with a box of things from when Jack was a baby. You can tell that Jack is apprehensive of letting her into his life, but she assures him that she’s not looking to re-connect with him out of guilt. She just wants to make it clear that although her last name is Grayson, she is nothing like Conrad or Victoria.

Speaking of Victoria, she has to bail Patrick out of jail. Why? Well, he decided to crash Jimmy’s memorial and spit on his picture which led to all of Jimmy’s buddies beating the crap out of him. All it took was Patrick killing a man and now he thinks he’s all tough and stuff. Either way, Victoria warns him to not let the rage consume him, but it doesn’t look promising.

Elsewhere, Emily is still unraveling. She destroyed the infinity carvings on her balcony, her black outs are still happening, and she’s still refusing to get help, so Nolan has to pull in the big guns: her love for Aiden. But before he does, Emily makes a stop at Conrad’s room at the South Fork Inn, but she’s not alone. Someone grabs her and when she finally comes to she’s face to face with Aiden. He wants her to get to the root of whatever it is that is causing this and he’s going to use Takeda’s methods: essentially drowning her.

Back over at Nolan’s, Victoria confronts Nolan about the only thing they have in common: their love for Patrick. It’s here that Nolan learns that Patrick was conceived out of rape. You can tell he feels badly now for how he went about connecting Patrick to his father. This leads to Nolan paying Patrick a visit where he tells him that he got a famous artist to come to an art show. He also learns that Jimmy’s death wasn’t an accident, but that Patrick is responsible for it. Some things never change.

Back over at an abandoned warehouse, Aiden is still trying to wash the problems out of Emily — and it works. She flashes back to the night before her father got arrested when he told her that he wanted him, Victoria, and Emily to become a family. It’s then Emily realizes that he technically got his wish: she’s a Grayson now. Aiden unties Emily and she thanks him for saving her even though she’s not sure she deserves it. He tells her to remember why she’s on this quest in the first place and with a kiss on the forehead is gone. Except for the fact that Daniel doesn’t trust his wife and had someone follow her and now that kiss is documented and in Daniel’s hands.

Back at Emily’s she gets a visit from Jack who tells that Stevie is in fact his birthmother. He asks her for her advice and she tells him that she may be worth giving a chance, but to please be careful. She also thanks him for giving her another chance and letting her back in his life. I’m still Team Jack. So with Emily’s advice in mind, he shows up at Stevie’s room where he learns the real reason she left him back then: she was an alcoholic, but now is almost 20 years sober.

The episode ended with Patrick getting an opportunity for an apprenticeship in Tuscany and let Victoria know via voicemail. Classy. Nolan shows up at Emily’s — who is staying at her house again — and gives her the gift of a new infinity box. One that is metal and only opens with the touch of her fingertip. So sweet! As Nolan goes to celebrate by fixing them some gin martinis, the word gin triggers a journal entry from her father. He was visited by a lawyer when he was in prison, someone who was really interested in his case. The only problem was he could smell the gin on her breath and learned that she had previously gotten disbarred. Who was this mystery lawyer? Stevie Grayson of course!

Some leftovers: Are you sad to see Patrick leave? What do you think Daniel is going to do with that photo? Were you shocked to find out that Stevie knew David Clarke?
