This is how you do a finale! On the last episode of the season for Revenge the writers pull out all the stops and one of the series biggest secrets was revealed. What was it? Let’s dig in!

With Conrad behind bars, and the evidence piling up against him, the court decides to look back into David Clarke’s involvement in Flight 197. The final verdict? David Clarke is found innocent and his name is cleared of all charges. Emily did it. She cleared her father’s name, so the quest for Revenge is over right? Obviously not. There’s still the issue of the ring — among other things..

As Emily looks to explore the man behind the ring and the cabin she decides to venture solo up to the woods. While there she is attacked by the man who lives there, but in true Emily fashion, she returns the favor. After finally knocking him out she notices the syringe in her leg, and that he is conspiring with Victoria. She believes the syringe was going to be used to try and get a DNA sample. We as the audience, know that Victoria already had a DNA test that confirmed the girl who died Amanda Clarke wasn’t really related to him. So Emily devises a plan:  target the woman who can link Victoria to the framing of her father: the psychiatrist who poisoned Emily’s thoughts on her father, Michelle Banks.

At Michelle’s office, Aiden pays her a visit to help out his lady love and the two have some afternoon tea. He threatens her to go get the files that prove her involvement, but unfortunately it’s Victoria who returns. As Aiden tries to do his get tough he realizes that he is slowly becoming paralyzed. Michelle went from poisoning thoughts, to literal poison. Then, as he’s lying on the floor, Victoria puts the metaphorical nail in the coffin: she suffocates him with a pillow. Clearly Victoria is a fan of the ‘eye for an eye’ approach. Or in this case, the love of your life, for the love of your life. When Emily returns home, she finds Aiden’s lifeless body and pays Michelle Banks her own visit. The two work up a deal that isn’t revealed until the end.

Back over at The Stowaway, Jack finds himself in his own not so promising situation. After trying to console Charlotte, he touches her on the shoulder in the exact same way her kidnapper did that night. She puts the pieces together and the last we see of Jack is him being led off by the police under suspicion of kidnapping.

Someone else who may be getting a visit from the police? Daniel. You see, we finally met Margot’s brother Gideon in this episode and the two picked up right where they left off in their little bromance. Example: getting drunk and lying to each other. Gideon tells Danny that he is not after Margot’s spot in the company, but that he is looking to venture out in a seperate venture. The truth? Him and Nolan are conspiring to take back control of the MyClone app. Nolan wants to do this clean, but Gideon has a better plan: blackmail. After getting all liquored up thanks to Gideon, Daniel awakes to a 3:00 am phone call from Margot. Daniel picks up the phone, and the hint, and invites her over for a little night cap to mix some pleasure with business. The only problem? His bed is already occupied by a naked girl…who just happens to be dead.

Speaking of dead, Emily told the authorities that Aiden’s death was a suicide, not murder. So what’s her game plan? Well, it starts at the cemetery — and she’s not alone. Victoria is there, too. Victoria asks her why she is digging up her father’s grave. If there was ever any doubt, Emily realizes that Victoria knows who she is now. She assures Victoria that it’s not David Clarke’s grave that she is digging up and swiftly knocks her out with the shovel. When Victoria comes to, she is bound to a hospital bed with Emily by her bedside. As she tries to convince the doctor that she is not crazy, and that the woman beside her is Amanda Clarke, a pyschiatrist comes in to confirm her insanity. Who is the pyschiatrist? None other than MIchelle Banks. The shot fades out with Victoria yelling incessently “You’re Amanda Clarke! You’re Amanda Clarke!” Subtle, Vic. That doesn’t make you sound crazy at all.

The episode ended with Conrad making his escape from prison. After seemingly being targeted by one of the prison guards, we learn that it was all an act and the guy was doing it on purpose. They can’t suspect the guard who hates Conrad of setting him free, right? So Conrad exits the prison dressed in the robes of a priest (ironic) and is practically skipping down the road to where the guard said a car will be waiting. As a car pulls up behind him, Conrad slows and watches as a hooded figure steps out of the car. The man removes his hood and we see it’s a dead man walking! It’s an alive and well David Clarke. As if that shock wasnt enough, he stabs Conrad and leaves him bleeding on the road as the episode fades to black.

Some leftovers: can you believe David Clarke has been alive this whole time? What do you think Emily will do when she finds out? Will Emily let Jack take the fall for the kidnapping? Can you believe Aiden died? What does this mean for Victoria? Are you ready for next season?!
