The episodes started with Emily and Nolan setting up for the #LolanWedding. Seriously, take a minute an imagine the instagram photos on that hashtag. Anyways, Em has graciously opened her doors to host the ceremony for her BFF and his wifey’s extensive guestlist. Someone who was invited and shocking RSVPd Oui? Margot. Even though Louise tried to kill her once, so clearly lady has another agenda. Knowing this counts as a Hampton’s social event, do you really expect anything less?

Louise is having some wedding jitters, but not in the form of cold feet. She’s concerned that there may be some truth to her mother’s story that she murdered her father and her brother Lyman is back in town to keep the honesty coming. He serves it up in the form of a police report with details explaining the night of her father’s murder. Louise has limited memories of that night, but she was 13 when it happened. Thirteen also happens to be the age where she started going crazy so things aren’t looking good. Emily is able to help her retrieve a memory thanks to skills she learned involving a knife and candles in Japan and Louise recalls the memory: she didn’t kill her father. Only, apparently the memory really showed she did because later on nobody can find her. Nolan is able to track her to some place in the boonies and Louise is officially a runaway bride.

Back in the Hamptons, the latest Hardy Boys are set to receive medals of honor for their bravery. Ben is having no problem receiving the accolades, but Jack is not a fan of the attention: he took someone’s life, and covered up crimes, how can that make him a hero? But after a pep talk from David and some pleading by Ben he accepts the award, but not before making it clear to Emily that he is not okay with holding onto all these lies.

With Louise M.I.A., Emily goes to find her and tracks her down at the mental facility. While she’s there she gives her Nolan’s wedding gift: the real police report. Naturally Nolan looked into this because he is just the best. Turns out, Louise’s memory was right on point, she just wasn’t paying close enough attention. She wasn’t the one who shoved him, she was reaching for him to save him. Upon returning to the reception, she lays down some truth: she remembers everything. Starting with the fact that mama was cheating with the judge…who naturally is her +1 to the event, and mama was the one who killed her. And with that mama just bought two tickets back to Georgia.

Also at the reception, Margot finally makes her appearance and finds Jack at the bar. Anyone else briefly forget they used to date? Weird. Jack offers his condolences about Daniel and shares with us all that he has turned in the medal from the mayor..along with his badge and his gun. Yep, Jack is no longer a cop. Hopefully he kept the uniform. The two share a drink (water with a twist for Margot) and toast to her child  growing up in a less complicated world. Safe to say that’s not likely.

Over on the dance floor,  David and Emily are enjoying an adorable father-daughter dance. A dance that was promised after celebrating the real Amanda Clarke’s birthday—a birthday Emily has not celebrated for a really long time. David shows his appreciation to Emily for gifting him back his life, now as a present to her, he wants to do the same, but Emily isn’t sure she wants to be Amanda again; it was never a part of the plan. That’s when happens when there’s a plot twist and you find out your father is alive! This is something she realizes while grabbing a beer with Ben. Why? Well, she wanted to get his opinion because he’s impartial. A fact he quickly reminds her is untrue because he is in fact very partial..towards her.

While all this is happening, Victoria is trying to resolidfy her place as Queen Bee of the Hamptons, a feat being made more difficult due to the Hampton’s newest socialite: Natalie Waters. But Victoria is quick to remind her and the rest of her minions that she has not lost the art of blackmailing: keeping a secret has a price and Vic is ready to make them all pay in the form of donations to her new foundation; one that she is making in Daniel’s name. She’s feeling quite proud of herself until she gets a call informing her that there has been a death in the family..and we never find out who it was.

Margot isn’t a fan of the foundation and what Victoria is trying to do to clear Daniel’s name. She is still hellbent on getting her own revenge. The first attempt comes in the form of a tabloid magazine. It’s a photo of David and Emily embracing with the headline: David Clarke’s new boo! Gross because it’s his daughter, but what does the dude taking pictures no? It’s also enough damage to Emily for Margot, so the man working for her comes up with more telling proof: a video recording of Jack and Emily that could take them both down. So now Margot has her ammunition to take out Emily, but will she take down Jack, too?

The episode ends with Emily showing up at Ben’s door, where for the 100th time he offers to tell her about his six months undercover. Emily is finally able to shut up him, but this time it’s in the form of a kiss. A kiss that happens just as Jack comes running over the hill and witnesses the whole sexy thing.

Some leftovers: what do you think is Natalie’s deal? Who do you think died in Victoria’s family? Were you shocked Emily hooked up with Ben? Are you ready for March 8th when Jack finally confesses his love?
