Sunday’s episode of #Revenge was one that felt more like a series finale, than a regular episode. The world dealt with the repercussions of Emily’s big reveal, and Emily adjusted to life as Amanda Clarke again. So let’s dig in.

The episode started with Louise and Victoria on the beach where Louise is digging around in the sand. Finally, she finds what she’s been looking for: the drive Lyman tried to steal. Now that she knows that both Nolan and Amanda (yep, we’re using her real name now!) were lying, she has no problem handing over the the information to Victoria. With the evidence in Victoria’s hands she’s ready to add a new layer to the world’s biggest news story: Amanda Clarke is still alive.

Victoria goes to Margot’s to tell her she’s got the evidence that could allow them to finally get their revenge on Amanda, but Margot still wants no part of it. She comes clean that Amanda had nothing to do with her losing the baby, but she was so consume with the feud she didn’t see it coming. So Victoria is on her own.

After her beach trip with Victoria, Louise pays Nolan a visit to drop off papers and to accuse him of being a liar. As she says that, Nolan notices her eyes glance over to the lap top where he had kept some of he and Amanda’s files. This causes Nolan to finally delete the incriminating files but soon realizes that Louise and Victoria know more than they should. After realizing this he runs to Amanda’s to let her and David know and she is furious. Why would he keep any of the files that could incriminate them? He tells her he wanted to remember what they accomplished, but she tells him that saving them may be thing that ruins it all. How? Well, Victoria is on her way to the press with quite the story in hand.

At the studio, Victoria starts telling the interviewer the type of story she’ll be able to break when Amanda walks in offering her a no questions-barred interview live under one condition: Victoria never gets to talk…ever. During the interview she gives the world its first glimpse at the infinity box and opens up about all the people whose lives her secret cost. Flashbacks to the real Emily Thorne (faux Amanda), Charlotte, and Aiden. The scene is laced with flashbacks that are just as moving as seeing them the first time around. The interviewer asks her if she ever harmed anyone physically, she says yes, but that she never crossed the line and the way she says it implies that she knows someone who has. The interviewer gets the hint and says it’s a strong accusation to make against Victoria, but Emily says she didn’t accuse anyone. Victoria has to take responsibility for her own actions and that if she’s watching, the opportunity to end this is in her hands. Margot who is watching in her office is not pleased with the interview, and is now officially ready to help Victoria.

Back over at Nolan’s, we find him questioning his purpose in the world now that he’s no longer Emily Thorne’s sidekick. Luckily for him, he’s still got Jack who looks to put a little pep back in Nolan’s stylish step. As the two watch Amanda’s interview, Jack gets up to leave and Nolan proves he is still the world’s greatest BFF. He encourages Jack to go to her. She has come clean to the world. She’s finally the girl he loves again, the one he named his boat after, all summed up: she’s back to being the girl he met on the beach. BUT Jack has alredy told her how he felt, and one can only take that rejection so many times. Speaking of, Ben is pissed because she made the announcement on live television and even she can’t take that back. It doesn’t look good that he’s a detective and didn’t even know the real name of the woman he is dating.

However, Amanda’s revelation to the world isn’t just affecting those closes to her. It’s affecting the people whose lives Emily Thorne ruined. One person being, the senator she took down back in the day and ruined his political career. Dude is ready to exact his revenge, and his first plan of attack is to contact other people Amanda took down when she was Emily. The only problem? Amanda got to them first. She shows up at his office to let him know that he won’t be saying anything, and this time she brought some reinforcements: her father. The senator weakens a little bit seeing David, since he was one of the key players that put him behind bars. So even when he gets a call from Victoria, it looks like the senator is going to choose to stay quite. Gotta say, I was really feeling David and Amanda being badasses together. The two are bringing a whole new dynamic to the father daughter relationship.

The episode ended with someone chilling on a beach, a nice, refreshing, tropical drink in hand, and someone circling Amanda’s face in, yep you guessed it, a red sharpie. Who is it? We have to wait until next week to find out.

Some leftovers: hat do you think Margot is going to do to help Victoria? Were you bummed Jack didn’t try to go after Emily again? Do you trust Louise?
