Last night’s #Revenge began with Emily literally standing in the wreckage of everything she boht intentionally and unintentionally caused. Let’s dig in!

As Amanda is bringing Nolan up to speed on what happened, the firefighters let her know that they found a body but because of the severity of the burns, they can’t identify who the body is. But they did find something from the victim’s personal property: a ring. Any chance Amanda knows who it belongs to? Yup, she does. It belongs to Victoria Grayson. So it’s officially been confirmed that Hampton’s biggest socialite is dead, or as Nolan so perfectly put it: ding dong the bitch is dead.

Cut to Jack enjoying his new life in L.A. We see him lounging by the pool shirtless making me officially on board with this move, (at least temporarily). Dear writers of Revenge, we’d all like more of that please.

Back over in the Hamptons, Louise shows up at magazine HQ to share how she’s worried about Victoria. As she arrives Margot stumbles across a letter addressed to her in Victoria’s handwriting. While the two are in mourning, and trying to figure what actually happened to Victoria, they go to her penthouse to grieve. But instead of finding solace or answers, they find another question; was Victoria actually murdered? They ask this because it looks like someone broke into the penthouse and there is blood on the door. Naturally, this leads to suspicions about who it could be. Any guesses? If you guessed The Clarkes you’d be correct. If you didn’t, well, have you even been watching the show? So, off to questioning they go.

Amanda is nervous because David doesn’t really have an alibi (or so she thinks) and hers isn’t looking too good either. While in the room she tells Ben, who naturally is the detective on the case,  that she was with Mason at the time in question. The problem? Everyone believes he’s dead.  Then when she goes to call him to corroborate her story, his phone has been disconnected. As if that wasn’t enough of an emotional punch for her, she overhears one of the officers saying that David’s alibi checked out: his oncologist puts him in the hospital at the time the explosion occurred. Well, that’s one way to find out!

So what’s the deal with Mason? Well, after meeting with Mason to try and shut him down, she learns that he started working on his book while in the Maldives. The working title? “One big lie: The Amanda Clarke story.” He tells her it’s her move, so Amanda gets to work. She makes up the story that the death of Gordon Murphy was actually because of Conrad, not Mason. She even has Nolan draft up the papers to give her claim some credit and drops them off at the FBI. Her story? While examining the wreckage of her former home, she found them in a fireproof box. Smooth. Unfortunately for her, Mason has his own plan up his sleeve.

Nolan, on the other hand, is s-p-r-u-n-g. He wants to go on vacation with Tony, but is nervous to ask him because they’ve been dating for like five days. But fear not. It’s all good in Nolan’s hood: Tony agrees to go as long as there will be tequila. I knew I liked him. Then, because this is revenge, we know there is no happily ever afters.  It turns out Tony had applied to be a foster parent before he met Nolan and surprise! he’s about to be a daddy. Nolan is actually adorably on board with this until he learns that Tony still plans on being a single father, so that is the end of that.

Speaking of non-existent fairy tales, Jack is back in town for questioning and naturally he runs into Amanda in the police station. She asks him why he never said good-bye but before he can answer he’s told they’re in the room waiting for him. As he goes to walk away Amanda grabs his hand and asks him to come by the beach house, but instead Jack lets her know that after questioning he’s on the first trip back to L.A. It looks like Amanda finally got the good-bye she was looking for the firs time around.

In the interrogation room, Ben and Jack finally have it out about his relationship with Amanda, and it’s there that Jack finally learns Amanda’s true feelings for him. Ben is the one who lets him know that she tried to stop him from boarding the plane. Unfortunately, there was no Rachel Green, “I got off the plane moment” but learning this news did seem to make Jack re-consider leaving because he does in fact show up at the beach-house later. The only problem? Emily is in cuffs and being put into the police car. Yup, she has officially been arrested for Victoria Grayson’s murder.

Turns out, Mason’s return to the Hamptons wasn’t coincidental, he was working with Victoria. When he met Amanda in her car earlier in the episode, he planted evidence linking her to the crime, and not leaving a single fingerprint. Then, if that wasn’t enough he sends her a video where Victoria point blank tells Amanda she’s framing her for her murder.

Some leftovers: were you shocked to find out that Victoria planned that all out? Why do you think Jack was going to Emily’s? Do you think Margot or Louise were in on this plan with Victoria?
