It should come as no surprise to anyone that TV is always changing. It should come as even less of a surprise, that we as fans change with it. If we’re not gonna be home for our favorite show, we DVR it. If we hear good things about a show, we binge until we’re all caught up. Point blank: as fans we do what we need to do to keep up with the shows we love. We adapt. So I think it’s only fair that this blog does the same.

This blog used to be about Revenge (#RIP), but then the series ended. That doesn’t mean this blog should die down, too. That’s not how TV works. A show ends, something always takes it’s place. Every season we’re introduced to new characters. Every season we say farewell to ones we loved. New shows enter our hearts. Our favorites take their final bows. That’s just the way it is. But it doesn’t mean there is anything less to talk about. In fact it means just the opposite. It means there are so many more conversations that we need to have.
We need to talk about series premieres, like ABC’s The Family. To pay our respects to original cast members who said good-bye (Looking at you, Shemar Moore). We need to talk about whether casting “what’s-her-name” for that highly anticipated pilot was a good or bad idea. What I’m trying to say is there is still plenty for us to catch up on. And I think it’s time we finally do. Are you ready? I am. It’s time to dig back in.
