On last night’s episode of Revenge we learned what the end game is for Emily’s masterful plan of Revenge – and it leaves both Nolan Jack speechless. What is it? Let’s dig in to find out!

The episode started with Emily in a panic after showing up at Nolan’s to find his house in total disarray and Patrick sneaking out the back – of course knowing what she does about Patrick, she gets super worried. But never fear. Nolan is fine and just relaxing after what was clearly a rough and exciting night with Mr. Osbourne. Of course this is news to Emily and she wants to stomp out this new flame  immediately. Nolan however isn’t having it. He’s tired of having to put his own life on hold and isolate himself for her plan. Emily reminds him that he wanted to be a part of this and he counters by telling her all he ever wanted: friendship. Things are looking pretty shaky for one of our favorite duos.

A pairing that isn’t looking shaky? Daniel and Emily. Victoria is still hoping to drive a wedge between them but realizes it seems to be smooth sailing ahead. Things are so good in fact, that they even decided on a honeymoon. A family cruise around Nantucket (read: Emily standing in a wedding dress on a Yacht).  But because this is a meal at the Grayson’s the waters don’t stay calm for long. Conrad has an announcement that could alter Emily’s plan drastically: He’s selling Grayson Manor. Emily not so discretely freaks out because her plan depends on Victoria and the Grayson’s staying in the Hamptons – so what is a girl to do?

She first offers to buy the manor, but then comes up with an even better solution: she makes the Manor unsellable. She convinces the real estate lady that her home has had so many problems due to beach erosion. She is able to show her the broken foundation because we got to see Aiden standing in a muscle tank holding a sledge hammer. No wonder, Emily wants to run off to the Maldives with him when this is all over. Yep, you read that right Emily wants to spend her future with him. (Anyone else still think it will be Jack?) Anyway, when the lady goes to check the files – what do you know? They support Emily’s claim. This is of course because earlier in the episode Emily switched them herself.

Elsewhere, over at The Stowaway, we learn that Charlotte is giving the bar a makeover. Amidst discussing types of menus Charlotte comes clean to Jack that she took the blame for trying to kill Conrad to protect him. Jack immediately calls Emily to let her know and Emily lets him know that it was Patrick – and you can almost see the wheels turning in Jack’s brain on how he plans to use this information.

Speaking of Patrick and Conrad’s brakes, Victoria confronts him about what he did – and she could not be more proud. So proud in fact that she lets him know she’ll be putting  the gallery in his name so that Conrad can never touch it. She’s sure putting a lot of faith into Patrick, don’t you think? Unfortunately this gesture is short-lived because Jack does in fact have a plan that he sets in motion. He shows up at the Graysons and gives Conrad a two-part proposition. The first, he makes Conrad promise there will be no bloodshed. The second, after this piece of information, they are calling a ceasefire. At first, Conrad wants nothing to do with it, but Jack knew just the thing to say to make Conrad have a change of her: Charlotte. This convinces Conrad to hire people to remove Patrick from the Hamptons. Luckily for Patrick, Victoria intercepts him and sends him on his way to Philly with a bag and a promise that she’ll bring him back when it’s safe. We’ve never seen Victoria more distraught.

The feeling is mutual for Nolan. You see, Jack offered him the opportunity to say good-bye when he told Nolan what his plans for Patrick were, but Nolan didn’t think he could bare it. But that wasn’t the only emotional revelation of their conversation. The biggest one? Jack and Nolan finally both know that Emily Thorne is really Amanda Clarke – and that the other one knew about it. But no worries, this only made their bromance closer.

Charlotte on the other-hand, is proving herself to be a Grayson more and more every day. After asking Daniel for some help, the two entered a bakery to find Sarah behind the counter. Who is Sarah? The girl whose life Daniel destroyed when he was drunk behind the wheel. That Sarah – and lady is not over it, not one single bit. She tells Daniel that she works 60 hour weeks to try and pay for the treatments that his family screwed her on. Daniel truly thought she’d be taken care of for the rest of her life but after finally, actually, reading the settlement, learns that that is in fact not the case. This is why you always read the fine print!

Then, after calling the bakery and complaining about ‘rude customer service,’ Charlotte showed up at Sarah’s house to ‘apologize’ and learned that Sarah got fired. Charlotte tells her she may be able to help and we later find her in the kitchen of none other thanThe Stowaway, her new employer. It’s safe to say she’ll be sticking around for a while and after finally having a heart-to-heart with Daniel you can tell that despite it all, her feelings for him are still there. But are his?

The episode ended with Emily crashing boys night between Jack and Nolan to tell them that they were right. She know’s she’s terrible at expressing her feelings, but she doesn’t want to keep them in the dark anymore – so she wants them to know everything. She tells them how in order for her plan to work, she has to disappear completely. August 8th will not just be her wedding day, but the day Victoria Grayson goes down for the murder of Emily Thorne – and then she’ll never be able to see the two of them ever again.

Some leftovers: Does anyone else want to punch Charlotte? Do you think Patrick is really gone? Do you think Sarah being back will be a problem? Will Emily really be able to walk away from Nolan AND Jack?
