When on a path of revenge, always dig two graves.
And then months after that explosive finale climb on out and get ready for season two. Yes, I know it’s hard to believe it’s only been around for a season and ALL. OF. THAT. happened. But it did. And when I say it did, it really did. Seriously, as if it wasn’t enough that Revenge walked into our lives, it went and turned ’em upside-down with a crazy-revealing-yet-revealing-nothing finale. With the premiere set for Sunday, September 30th, I figured we should get down to business Emily Thorne style and remind ourselves of the five burning (pun intended) questions we were left with.
We know what you’re thinking, Em. That could have been you.
1. Is Jack really the baby daddy?
Just when Em was ready to come clean about who she really is and waltz, or probably sail, off into the Hamptons sunset with Jack, fake Amanda decided to make her return. And she came baring gifts. Well, maybe not gifts, but the gift of life. That’s right, fake Amanda is preggerz and she’s claiming Jack is the father.

Well, at least she may have gone out in style.
2. Is Victoria dead? Or, I guess more importantly, can she die?
The last we saw Victoria, she was taking her conscience and designer outfit aboard a plane to New York to set the record straight about David Clarke. After a season of straight up redefining what it means to be vindictive and manipulative, Victoria was ready to turn in her husband with sort-of-bestie Lydia in tow. The only problem, was White Haired Man had rigged the plane to explode. And explode it did. But is Victoria dead? Something tells me it’s gonna take more than a massive explosion to get rid of her.

3. How will Emily react to the news that dun-dun-dun, her mother is alive?
So, all this time Em has been conniving her way into the lives of the Hampton’s elite to avenge her father’s death. She does all of this with the full belief that her mother is dead. Welp! Turns out Mrs. Clarke is very much alive. In hindsight, her manipulative side has to come from somewhere right? Clearly, pure and loving David Clarke didn’t pass along those genes.

4. How many pills did Charlotte actually take?
Poor Charlotte. That’s really all I can say. From a drug problem, finding out she wasn’t wanted, and that she was conceived with the not-really-a-terrorist David Clarke, she’s had a rough season. Add on the fact that she pushed away the only boy who ever really cared about her, and the girl was a straight up mess. So much so that just as Victoria was boarding the plane, Charlotte was ODing and found — not moving — by Conrad. Yikes.

5. What exactly happened between Daniel and Ashley?
Last we saw Daniel he had just gotten confirmation that Emily had kissed Jack. Yep, getting your engagement ring given back to you will certainly do that. Heartbroken, Daniel returned home and of course Ashley swoops in to comfort him. We know there was alcohol involved, and clearly Ashley will stop at nothing to make it as one of the top players in the Hampton’s game. But just how far is she willing to go to get it?
