Last night’s episode of Revenge was called resurrection and man, did it bring a lot of things back to the surface! Not only did it bring Victoria actually being alive to the forefront, it reminded us just how manipulative these people can actually be. Let’s dig in!

We found out what was really going down between Victoria and the White Haired Man (WHM). He was providing passports for her and Charlotte to flee country.  Unfortunately, there was a hitch when it came to the payments. The money Charlotte got as a result of Victoria’s fake death was supposed to pay for their escape, but thanks to Conrad’s deal with the doctor, all her funds go to Conrad. Seeing as Victoria can no longer make her payment, WHM takes back their passports as a little insurance. It also puts her and Charlotte on top of his hit list.

Of course Victoria isn’t going to take that lying down. Cue Victoria’s vindictive genius-ness. She calls Conrad and safe to say scares the you-know-what out of him. I mean talking to your believed-to-be-dead-wife that you thought you murdered will do that. The shock only lasts for so long as we soon find Conrad at Victoria’s cabin, where Victoria is telling him to beat her up. This clearly doesn’t take a lot of convincing.

While all this is going down, Daniel notices that something is off with Grayson Global’s finances. Ashley is trying to distract him and is failing miserably. Conrad would not be happy seeing as we learned that she’s been reporting Daniel’s every move to Conrad, although I can’t say I’m surprised. As Daniel continues to try and figure everything out Emily calls, and basically connects the dots. Conrad and Charlotte’s doctor are working together to keep her in rehab: Conrad is trying to take Charlotte’s inheritance. This clearly doesn’t sit well with him, and he goes to break Charlotte out of rehab. Too bad he didn’t believe her originally either, so his efforts fail, but of course Emily is there and suggests Charlotte stays with her. Daniel looks both relieved and grateful. And like he may still be in love with her.

While all this is going down, NolCorp has been suffering due to Nolan  being a full-time sidekick as opposed to a full-time CEO. This leads one of his employees, Padma, to seek him out, and try and convince him to do things differently. The only thing he wants to be different, seems to be getting to know her better. Declan also got a visitor. A kid from his school who ultimately asks him to hold onto a piece of jewelry for him. Mr. Pure-of-heart Declan would normally say no, but with Jack having a baby and the bar going under,  the $500 the kid offers makes it hard to say no. I understand money is money, but you live in the Hamptons…500 bucks isn’t going to get you much!

Back at Victoria’s hide-a-way we see the WHM return ready to collect. He’s shocked to find Victoria handcuffed and beaten, and even more-so to find that the police are on their way to arrest him. He flees, just in time of course, and Conrad swoops in to the rescue with the police to save Victoria. Remember that genius-ness I referred too? This was it.  Victoria spins the story so that everyone believes she was abducted right before the plane exploded. She was held captive and beaten, and now looks like the victim. WHM is now also a suspect. And when she returns home, her and Conrad further spin the story to Daniel to make it seem like that’s why he took Charlotte’s inheritance: to pay a ransom and get her back. Like I said, genius.

Also quite the smartypants, is Emily. She’s also getting darker. She knows Charlotte desperately wants two things. Her mother’s love, and to understand her other family, the Clarkes. Em tells Charlotte that she means more to her mother than money. Clearly this isn’t true, and Charlotte learns that when her mother basically tells her she was never taking her with her. Then Emily brings her to the beach where fake Amanda in all her pregnant glory is there. The look on Charlotte’s face when she realizes she’s going to be an aunt basically solidifies that she’s not going anywhere. Speaking of that baby, the results of the paternity test are in: Jack is the father. Fake Amanda had asked Emily to fix the results if he wasn’t. She tells Amanda she did, but the truth is, he really is the dad. So why lie? My vote goes for jealousy.

Back at the Grayson’s, everyone is trying to get re-adjusted to life with Victoria alive again. She explains to Charlotte that that’s why she lied about not wanting her to come with her. It was all for her protection. It seems she’s forgiven, but Victoria has one more question. Just how much did she tell Emily about everything? Well, pretty much everything. So, Victoria invites Emily over to make sure she’ll keep her secret. Charlotte is adamant that they can trust her. But Victoria isn’t convinced, and it turns out it’s for a good reason.

The episode ended with Emily getting a visit from none other than the WHM. Homeboy is seriously working for everyone. She offers to give him all the footage from the clam cam to exonerate him. The price? Information about her mother. He tells her how Victoria wanted him to kill her, but as we all know he doesn’t like to follow the rules. That’s made even more clear when he puts a knife to Emily’s throat. The fact that Emily thought this would just be a fair exchange just shows how far gone she really is. Just as he’s about to kill her Aidan, who has been lurking around the Hamptons and even sitting in on Grayson Global meetings, shoots him just in time. Yes, he just saved her life, but he also may have just killed the man who knew where her mother was.

Some leftovers: Were you shocked that Emily was willing to manipulate her own sister like that? Is WHM really dead? Are you mad that Emily liked to Amanda? What is the deal with that necklace Declan is hiding?
